The Project:
Knights Agriculture was appointed to deliver a comprehensive Total Build Solution for a new two-house broiler site in Powys. Building on our previous success at this location, where we completed extensive earthworks for another project, the client requested we oversee the entire process of the new site: design, earthworks, civils, concrete works, house build, and full project management.
Works Completed to Date:
The earthworks phase has been successfully completed, involving the trimming of 5,000 tonnes of stone to formation level and the cutting and filling of 6,000 tonnes of material to ensure a stable foundation. Adverse weather conditions posed significant challenges during this phase, but the team worked swiftly and efficiently to meet deadlines despite the difficult conditions.
With the site now prepared, the civils team is ready to commence work, followed shortly by the house build and concrete teams. Thanks to the overlapping schedules enabled by our Total Build Solution, progress will continue seamlessly. We look forward to sharing further updates as the project unfolds in the coming weeks.
